Prevention often leads to planning and implementing public health projects and reversing the negative impact that alcohol, tobacco and other drugs and other addictions cost communities. During this process, sometimes the design
and maintenance of our internal and external capacity for change is less of a
priority. This can occur in government or non-profits at a time when the field
and our funders shift to more accountability. By knowing what exists internally
in terms of structure, staff, volunteer capacity and resources, you can be equipped
to achieve outcomes. Looking into the community, there may be other groups accomplishing similar work, key partners
and outside assets that can boost your prevention or treatment efforts. I can help you position yourself to work
regionally and map out an organizational chart to build your system. Let's first take a look at what gifts your
staff provides and then take a look at other group and coalition contributions.
